Leading provider of large storage systems selects PARPRO Technologies Design Center for Next Gen Application<\/strong><\/p>\n

SANTA ANA, CA, Monday, September 18th, 2017 — <\/strong>PARPRO (4916:TW), a full service Embedded Design Solutions and Manufacturing Services company has been awarded a significant contract from a global leader of large storage systems to provide custom hardware development. The award includes design and non-recurring engineering (NRE) in support of a high-end industrial data storage application. This high-density computing platform will feature the latest high-performance technologies including the Intel\u00ae Dual Xeon\u00ae server-class processor, along with the newest interconnect, memory and storage solutions, resulting in a totally new and unique architectural design.<\/p>\n

This customer, best known for high-performance storage solutions for end-to-end data management, came to PARPRO looking for a very complicated purpose-built, application specific platform design<\/a>, requiring the highest possible processing performance.\u00a0 PARPRO was selected based on their vast experience, engineering talent, and knowledge-base of high-performance platforms, as well as fast time-to-market and affordability.<\/p>\n

Work under this contract will take place at the PARPRO Technologies Design Center<\/a>, located in Southern California, and delivered in 2017.\u00a0 PARPRO\u2019s engineering design team provide application-specific design and manufacturing services and are recognized as a key enabler of best-in-class products for high-capacity storage appliances and platforms, Software Defined Network (SDN) servers, top-of-rack switches and load balancing for Application Delivery Controllers (ADC) as well as wire-speed packet processing and line-rate deep packet inspection.<\/p>\n
